At Kilkenny Limestone we’re looking for an Estimator.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimator to take all enquiries from start to finish, be able to understand schematics;

  • Be able to quantify and itemise materials off drawings;

  • Capable of creating BOQs from minimal information and generating details and proposals;

  • Candidate will be expected to handle multiple projects at a time and schedule in deadlines, make decisions, self-perform, liaise with vendors and clients alike;

  • Carefully reviewing Tender documents to ensure their completeness, and actively participating in bid initiation;

  • Coordinating and preparing bids, engaging with various suppliers, sub-contractors, and 3rd parties, including equipment supply proposals;

  • Compiling supporting proposal documentation, such as technical proposals, equipment selection information, project delivery & management plans, and preliminary project programmes;

  • Demonstrating an organized approach to deliver tender proposals within stringent timelines;

  • Assisting in program planning, analysis, and updates.

Requirements:

  • Good reporting and communication skills essential;

  • Excellent IT skills required;

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Be flexible in respect of shift changes and to participate in the maintenance procedure as required;

  • Responds positively to changing circumstances and priorities;

  • Strong team player;

  • High level of organisational and multi-tasking skills.

Kilkenny, Holdensrath, Co. Kilkenny and Old Leighlin, Co. Carlow.
