Quarry Supervisor

• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSA legislation;

• Ensure compliance with Company health and safety systems / standards and best practices;

• Ensure that all work undertaken in the quarry is risk assessed and safe;

• Ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported, and fully investigated and corrective action taken as necessary;

• Ensuring that the quarry operates in the scope of any planning conditions;

• Supervision of General Operatives within the quarry;

• Labelling of blocks for Production;

• Quality control and stock control of blocks;

• Provide support to the Quarries Manager;

• Conscious of quarry cost management.

• Experience in Quarry operations, and mobile heavy plant operations;

• Good people management skills to lead, guide and motivate quarry General Operatives;

• Awareness of cost control and operation efficiencies;

• Strong knowledge, experience and application of Health and Safety practices;

• Computer skills also required.
