Paving in Tarn, Kilkenny Limestone, Azul Platino and ASM Duna - Bruges (BE)
Vlamingstraat, Bruges, Belgium
✨ Happy to share this project involving the restoration of Vlamingstraat in Bruges (BE). Brachot provided a range of materials for this significant project, drawing from our own Family Members, Kilkenny Limestone and Granitarn. The pavers and copings were carefully chosen to complement the historic surroundings. Tarn Gros Grain and Tarn Fin Grain pavers, characterized by their flamed surfaces and cleft edges, add texture and character to the streetscape. Meanwhile, the Kilkenny Limestone copings, with a chiselled finish, offer a refined touch to the architectural ensemble. Noteworthy is the alternating use of ASM Duna in white-yellow-pink hues and Azul Platino in grey-blue tones, creating a visually appealing pattern along the pavement. In summary, this project showcases the effective application of quality materials to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of urban spaces while respecting the historical context of Bruges.
